The Serious Charges Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – comprising some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021. One senior CPS official commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.” Scope of the Police Inquiry These allegations come after what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital. Spencer will appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th. List of Offences Prosecutors outline the 45 charges comprise: 15 counts of assault. Seventeen counts of assault by penetration. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
