Ukraine's unmanned aerial vehicles have targeted the Russian Bashneft refinery in the city of Ufa, positioned some 1,400 km from the Ukrainian border, triggering explosions and a fire, per a informed individual in Ukraine's Security Service.

This constitutes the latest intelligence long-range attack in the region in the last month. Such attacks illustrate that there are no safe places in the distant backlines of the Russia.

Power had been recovered to over 800,000 inhabitants by Saturday and the largest utility provider announced the main operations to recover electricity was concluded though certain disruptions persisted.

Anti-Aircraft Operations and UAV Interceptions

The Ukrainian defense forces downed or disrupted 54 of 78 Russian drones sent targeting the country in the dark hours, the aerial defense command announced on the weekend.

Russia's defense officials stated it shot down 42 UAVs from Ukraine over Russian territory.

Cuban Government Refutes Allegations of Deploying Forces to Ukraine
