"It's likely that we would not be able to create and produce Battlefield 6 without the lessons we gained in Battlefield 2042," Rebecka explains to us.

A key those insights was to get players engaged soon, and the developers launched invite-only fan playtests not long ago.

Another absent ingredient from Battlefield 2042 was a solo experience, which has been restored for this release.
